Privacy Policy

This is an English translation for convenience. If it differs from the Thai version, the Thai version applies.

This policy explains how WorkingBee (“we”), which provides a money and tax assistant through LINE and the website www.workingbee.io, collects and uses your personal data under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (PDPA).

Data we collect

• LINE account data: your LINE user ID, display name and chosen language, received when you add us as a friend or sign in with LINE.
• Profile details you enter: name, business name, address, phone, email, taxpayer ID and signature image (if uploaded), used on the documents you issue.
• Financial records you keep: income and expenses, wallets/accounts, budgets, instalments, reimbursements, and data read from the slips, bills or statements you send.
• Tax data: income by type, tax withheld, data from 50 Tawi withholding certificates and the allowances you enter.
• Your documents and clients: quotations, invoices, receipts, client names and addresses, products and services.
• Tasks and appointments you create in the chat, and a Google Calendar connection token if you choose to connect it.
• Files you ask us to keep, such as bill or receipt photos used as expense evidence, and the PDF documents the system generates.
• Basic usage data, such as which web pages were opened from the menu and system error logs, to fix problems and improve the service.

We do not keep transfer slip images. After reading the amount, date and reference number, the slip image is not saved, because slips contain other people’s names and account numbers.

How we use data

• To provide the service you ask for: recording income and expenses, calculating tax, issuing documents, reminding you of appointments and due dates (contract basis).
• To send notifications and summaries about your account through LINE.
• To keep the service secure, fix errors and improve it (legitimate interest).

We do not sell your data and do not use your financial data for advertising.

Providers that process data for us

• LINE: chat, sign-in and LIFF web pages
• Supabase: database and file storage (Singapore data centre)
• Railway: the servers that run the system (Singapore)
• Google Gemini: reads the text and images you send (slips, bills, statements) to extract amounts and details
• Google Calendar: only for users who choose to connect a calendar
• Company/VAT registrant lookup services: use the taxpayer ID you enter to fill in client names and addresses automatically

Some providers are located or process data outside Thailand. We choose providers with internationally recognised data protection measures.

How long we keep data

We keep data for as long as you use the service. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your data within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. Links to document files sent to clients expire.

Your rights

You may request access to or a copy of your data, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to its use, and a machine-readable copy (you can export income and expenses as CSV yourself from the finance page). You may withdraw consent and complain to the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee.

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS, every web page requires LINE sign-in, and file links are signed and expire.

Cookies and browser storage

This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel. We only store what is needed in your browser: your chosen language, display settings and your LINE sign-in state (managed by LINE).

We count page visits with our own system to see which pages are used and where visitors come from. We only send the page name, the action (such as opening a page, starting a calculation or tapping a LINE button), the website that sent you here and a random code used only for that browser tab. The code is kept in your browser sessionStorage and is removed when you close the tab. It is not a cookie, and we do not record your name, IP address or any number you enter in the calculator. If your browser sends Do Not Track, we do not count anything.

If we make an important change to this policy, we will tell you in the LINE chat before it takes effect.
